Desert Sky Images
Description
This is a negative space logo made for Osha Davidson of "Desert Sky Images", a portfolio of professional photography. After taking a look through some of his more prolific work, there were shoots conducted in the wilds of Arizona that really stood out to me, and it immediately gave me a direction to move in with the designs.
Any Phoenician could tell you about our unique sunset colors, so it only seemed appropriate for the art to mimic life as I know it. The scene is made up of a mountain range cascaded by a purplish haze at the end of a poor air-quality day, with a familiar crescent moon hanging just above at a deep, orange dusk. It's rather poetic, all things considered.
I opted to only use a single font this time, "Myriad", and I think it really shows my bias towards glyphs on the taller side.
