Colton America

This is a patriotic logo made for the electrical contractor, Daniel Hoy of "Colton America".

It always seemed to be a bit of a faux pas to include the stars and stripes in a design, but working it into the centerpiece was a decision the client and I came to after some discussion. Layering the letters in a sort of woven pattern with the star became a big part of what makes this work as well as it does. Combined with its embossed nature and lighting exclusive to the center, I'm satisfied with the outcome.

"Seravek Bold" makes a solo debut this time around, mostly noted by the asymmetrical nature of the letter "c".
