Neighbourly

Description

This is a posh logo made as a self-study for "Neighbourly"; a neighborhood application for community driven news, events, notices, and more.

While this would be the second work featuring a house, the goal became to make it more of an accent, rather than the focus. My means of doing so meant using the "i" and "b" as walls of the home, topping it with a roof and chimney at the same spot.

The piece, concept and all, was made with a good friend in mind, and he happens to be an Englishman. As such, it only felt appropriate to use a spelling that uses just one too many letters. Hefty and rounded, "Cocogoose Pro Bold" gives a strangely welcoming atmosphere as a font.
