Hey all, and welcome back to the portfolio of yours truly, Brandon Greene-Hooks. It’s been quite some time since the last post, as it’s been very slow-goings for the portfolio, but far from slow in regards to its projects, so I’ll be giving you all a heads-up on what’s to come. But, before that, I have an announcement to make.
After tallying the downloads for the Super Mario Bros. In First Person game, I found that an astonishing landmark has been made.
We hit 10,000 downloads! And, I say “we” because I’m just the one who made the game; it’s everyone else that made the game so popular through videos on YouTube, tweets on Twitter, and shares on Facebook. Thanks once again for playing my game. Now, back to the other sections of the portfolio.
For 2D Animation, the Inverse series is coming along quite nicely. I’ll be in contact with someone who will be advising me on the audio for the first episode of the series this week, so it is my hope that it goes well enough to create a fluid composition when it comes to the final output. It’s taking quite a bit of time to get the ball rolling, but I know it will be well worth the wait once it’s ready.
As for 3D Modeling, there’s been a slight change of plans. I initially wanted to make a series of models from the Megaman Zero series, (hence the title “Zero”), but recently found some complications with what models I wanted to make. The end result is that I either won’t be creating a series of models from that game, or I’ll be doing something as a parallel to the original idea.
The Game Development section currently has the most buzz, but not only because of the recent downloads of Super Mario Bros. In First Person, (or its subsequent updated gallery), but because I have plans to make another game; one of the mobile variety. It’s in a very early stage at the moment, so I’m going to keep the details to a minimum until I’m able to make more progress on it.
I’ve got a special addition in mind for the Graphic Design section that’s been a long way coming; a series of various works that follow a certain theme, but in different styles.
Last, but not least, there’s a chance that I will be adding a fifth section to the portfolio, after working through possible design flaws and inconsistencies.
That’s it for now, everyone. I realize that there’s quite a lot of “mystery” to this post, but due to the lack of a stable internet connection for the past while, I’ve had more time for ideas than I’ve had the tools necessary to implement them. With those issues now resolved, I can finally get back to doing what I love. Until then.
